Contrast, depth, restraint

Black and grey lives or dies on contrast. We build depth with layered greywash and keep the darkest blacks reserved for the places that anchor the piece, so the tattoo still reads as a whole once it has softened over the years. It suits portraits, ornamental work, script and large-scale coverage equally well.

Precision placement for visible canvas

Hand tattooing demands deep technical experience. Skin on the hands, knuckles, and wrists moves constantly and sheds faster than anywhere else. We engineer our hand designs with clean spacing and intentional contrast so lines stay crisp and legible rather than blowing out or fading prematurely.

A straight answer about what is possible

Every cover-up starts with looking at what is already there. Density, saturation, scarring and age all set limits on what can be hidden, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. We tell you plainly whether the piece can be covered outright, reworked into a larger design, or whether laser lightening first would give a far better result.

Photographic detail, tattooed to last

Realism is a technical style with real constraints — reference quality, available skin, and how much detail can survive a decade under the surface. We start from the best reference we can find, plan the tonal range before the first pass, and size the piece so the detail has room to sit. Larger realism work is usually split across sessions.

Artwork first, appointment second

Some ideas need to be drawn before they can be booked. This is the artwork stage on its own: reference gathering, composition, and the back-and-forth that turns a rough idea into a design that actually fits the body part you have in mind. It rolls straight into a tattoo session once you are happy.
